Education and Professional Qualifications:
- Knowledge and skills usually required through education/training in administrative or general business skills;
- At least two years of related work experience;
- Ability to cope with multi-cultural environment;
- Expertise with business English and composition and appropriate computer software;
- Understanding of company administrative policies and procedures;
- Ability to operate office machines, personal computer, knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, photo/image and spreadsheet software;
- Pleasant and efficient telephone manner;
- Ability to maintain close working relationship with office staff and other departments;
- Attention to details and ability to maintain complete confidentiality of records; and
- Ability to work independently with self-directed priorities.
Responsibilities:
- To study and implement procedures manual relating to Human Resources;
- To assist the Department’s Manager in the study and preparation of job descriptions of employees, as per the organization charts and in accordance with the changing trends in the banking industry;
- To assist the Department’s Manager in the preparation of organizational charts and hierarchical evaluations;
- To undertake and assist in the recruitment process including initial response processing, initial screening according to advertised criteria, interview scheduling, candidates travel plans and follow up until the final interview process, as directed by the Department’s Manager;
- To prepare recruitment advertisements, taking into consideration job descriptions and person specifications;
- To assist the Department’s Manager in the preparation of Staff Benefits and Staff Regulations manuals;
- To assist in the formulation of internal regulations, forms and data processing, as directed by the Department’s Manager;
- To initiate steps for the registration of training missions, seminars, conferences and career development programs of employees and follow through the checklist for such missions;
- To process payments relating to recruitment, training, seminars and career development programs;
- To collate data and prepare presentations as directed by the Department’s Manager;
- To assist in the preparation of budget;
- To process GOSI payments for APICORP Head Office and Bahrain Banking Unit Office; and
- To process educational benefits of legitimate dependents of employees where and when applicable.
