OIL AND GAS INDUSTRIES The Corporation is committed to providing finance for the oil and gas industries of the region and is the only financial institution in the Arab world which specialises in this sector. A major activity of the Corporation has been the financing of the development and production of liquefied natural gas (LNG). APICORP has undertaken major roles in LNG financing in Abu Dhabi, Algeria, Oman, Qatar and Egypt. The Corporation is active in financing the development of oil and gas fields, against proven reserves. It is also active in the financing of gas processing and the purchase of gas processing equipment. The Corporation is prepared to finance the acquisition of rigs and related equipment for drilling purposes. It does not fund exploration activities.
